Extended Limited Warranty for Educational Customers

 

Who Is Eligible for This Warranty?

NWA3D customers in the educational sector who have reached the end of their previous warranty period are eligible for this warranty. NWA3D customers in the educational sector whose previous warranty is expired may be eligible if their equipment meets NWA3D’s requirements. The educational sector includes schools, libraries, makerspaces, educational coops, and curriculum delivery organizations.

 

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for one year. If you pay for this warranty before the end of your previous warranty period, it starts on the day your previous warranty ends. If you pay for this coverage after your previous warranty has ended, it starts on the day we receive payment.

 

What Does This Warranty Cover?

Warranty applies to original factory hardware and firmware. This warranty covers any operational defects or malfunctions in your NWA3D A5 or A31 3D printer, including those caused by user error—no questions asked.

This warranty covers defective accessories. Accessories include the spool holder, power cord, external power supply, removable build plate, print surface, filament, and tools.

 

What Does This Warranty Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover the cost of shipping 3D printers and parts to and from our service location in Fayetteville, Arkansas.


This warranty does not cover accessories that are lost or damaged by customers. Accessories include the spool holder, power cord, external power supply, removable build plate, print surface, filament, and tools.

 

What Will NWA3D Do?

NWA3D will replace or repair any defective or malfunctioning part on your NWA3D A5 or A31 3D printer at no charge, up to and including full replacement. NWA3D will

  • Evaluate the defect/malfunction
  • Either ship the replacement part to you and teach you how to perform the repair (by email, phone, or videoconference) or
  • Instruct you to ship the 3D printer to our service location in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We will then repair or replace the 3D printer and ship it back to you.

 

How Do You Get Service?

To request service, you must fill out a Troubleshooting Request on the NWA3D website:

The NWA3D Service Team will respond to your request. If the Service Team decides that repair or replacement are required, they will communicate further steps. The Service Team will make sure your NWA3D A5 or A31 3D printer is operating correctly and the defect/malfunction has been fully corrected.  

You are responsible for communicating any warranty claims that you believe are unresolved with the Service Team.
