This assignment teaches students to use the design process to solve real world problems. The assignment serves as an assessment of how well students understand basic engineering principles of the Design Process, 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing, and presentation of their ideas.

Students will use Tinkercad (or any software capable of creating a 3D printing file (STL) to design a solution to a given Design Brief. Included are 3 design briefs covering Visual Impairment, Art Supplies, and Multitools. 

This projects is designed to last between 6-9 days overall. Ten page lesson designed for 5-12 grade.
